(B)RAINSTORM | Together we can weather life's questions
(B)RAINSTORM is an original contemporary circus performance created especially for young audiences. Blending movement, aerial acrobatics, and live saxophone, the show celebrates one of childhood’s greatest strengths: curiosity. Inspired by the endless cascade of questions children ask as they make sense of the world, this show transforms wonder into a playful weather system where questions rain from the sky, wind carries ideas, and discoveries gather like clouds. Rather than rushing toward answers, the performance delights in asking questions freely and often—making space for imagination, exploration, and joyful uncertainty. Featuring seven hundred colorful ping pong balls and plenty of giggles, wiggles, and surprises.
Show length: 45 minutes
Times: Friday September 11th, 4pm & Saturday September 12th 10am & 2pm
Designed with young audiences in mind, (B)RAINSTORM is a relaxed performance where little ones are encouraged to experience the show in the way that feels most natural to them. Wiggles, whispers, laughter, snacks, and curious sounds are all welcome. To help every family feel comfortable, we’ll offer a variety of seating options, including picnic-style floor seating, stroller parking, and traditional theater seating.
This program is supported by a grant from the Northampton Arts Council.
